How do I split my property or what can I build on my property?
Please contact the city or county zoning or building department for where the property is located.
Issues with your property's location address?
If you want to change your property's current location address, click on the Property Tools tab above and go to the link at the "Correct Your Property Address" pane.

If your property has no existing site address, you will need to go to the city or county zoning department where your property is located and get an address assigned there.
How do I find out about easements on my property?
You will need to research this in the Jackson County Records Department. Jackson County Geographic Information Systems and Assessment Mapping do not keep records of easements.
How do I get a plot plan for my property for a building permit?
You will need to contact a surveyor or engineer of your choice to get one of those.
